Ultimately lives are the measure of this event. Someday, not any time soon, that is how they will be compared. Of course the economic impact of this will probably turn out to be the most disruptive aspect. This event will be compared to 9/11 and World Wars in it's lasting influence.

I'm sort of a slow reader. So it would take me a very long time to read this book cover to cover, ha, ha.

@jon-nyc said in White House blocks Fauci from testifying: Trump makes himself look bad. He just doesn’t want it detailed or quantified by any underlings. Trump is definitely his own lawyer and the election will judge his case. As far as your second sentence goes he has good reason to understand what the House is up to. That’s a no brainer.

@Aqua-Letifer said in Two More Years: @Loki said in Two More Years: Regardless of how we feel as individuals we will see soon how long people will stay indoors afraid of the wolf outside. The only shot one has to keeping people at bay is to convince them that waiting will yield a better outcome. Moving the goal post further out is not helpful. Actually, I think the easier we make it on people with what we can reasonably allow, the less opposition there will be. Let folks return to as much of their lives as possible. Instead of movie theatres, open up a shitload of drive-ins. Get some stuff in our public parks so people can picnic with takeout orders. Make retail stores as idiot-proof as possible, then open them up. It would help. Hell, I'm all for mandatory masks for awhile. Very good. There has to be a semblance of normal life.

@George-K said in "Nice Rack. How old are you again?": She’s the niece of a tea party activist and long shot candidate to take Biden’s job in Delaware. Just some background, may or may not be relevant. The important question is: Was her father (or mother) a witch? Our a party hack?

One thing I can tell you with certainty is the Georgia test labs take the weekends off. [image: 1588378847493-20e28cc4-26c2-4559-93b9-9f59da0d9b80.png]
